I've spoken to some of you about your coursework, which on the whole has been done very well. A few tweaks needed though.

The evaluation questions must be done on a powerpoint and embedded. Publish it on Slideshare.net and then embed to your blog
Eva- good - get the evaluation changed and add some more ideas about film opening conventions and planning
Adam- some more research into film openings and genre. More specific points about skills developed since the prelim.
Max H- I spoke to you re what else you can do.
Keefer - good. I can't see the evaluation.
Paul- evaluation too vague. Follow the points for each question in more detail. Question 7 very weak at mo.
Cally- evaluation as a powerpoint. more evidence of research into the conventions of film openings
Max Tonk- good but q.7 of evaluation weak. target audience? Questionnaires etc?

Jack- some good work, but the evaluation needs to be a powerpoint and FINISHED!!
Sarah- good, get the evaluation done. Was that your mem stick on my comp? Pink!
Charlie- excellent, but the eval questions need to bea powerpoint
Hannah- spoke to you about more research and risk assessment etc.
Charlotte- thin on written points- more research into film openings and genre, also more plannig ideas needed.
Boris- some good work. Evaluation needs posting

Nat- I spoke to you. Great work.

Eddie- the evaluation questions need to be a powerpoint and embedded. I can't open your film!

Ross- I spoke to you!

Please get those evaluations done. I will have to take time management into account when marking your work.

Remember that you also get marked on use of technology in the evaluation.

Coming to the end

Please get your evaluations posted asap. If you've done a powerpoint you will have to publish it on sideshare .net first!! I'll be marking the work on  the Independent Study day- Wed 30th!!

Some blogs are great- Charlie,Ross, Keefer, Adam,Nat and Max T.  Many are good- Hannah, Paul, Eva, Max H, Charlotte and Eddie. Some others need a lot of work still if you want to get a C or above!

Deadline

Well done to everyone for getting their work done for the deadline. I will be marking the films and blogs in the next few days. You all need to get the evaluation questions posted. I will speak to you individually if there are things which need tweaking.

Editing

You need to be coming in to edit over the next week. I've posted comments on some blogs. I can't see all of them for some reason.
Keep looking at the checklist on mine- loads of things missing. Some blogs are great. Try to look at some examples from other schools.

No one has a risk assessment. Who will win this week's prize for getting one posted?

Completing your film openings

You should have finished filming by now. Remember that you need to showcase your skills. Refer back to the exam critieria to test that you have covered the main criteria.

Blogs are not all up to date. Some are great. Look at other blogs to get ideas. Don't forget that these are sent to the examiner for marking!!

You have two weeks for post production!!
